Still unsuccessful as far as I know. Can you tell me the trick for posting? I can get to blog posting but could not figure out how to embed video. I could paste embed code from youtube (no luck) or upload direct from imovie (also no luck). Thanks! Eric

the easiest thing to do is just paste in the video URL i.e. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCvxdE5NwmU
but for formatting options you need to use the Video buttons in the editor i.e. YouTube, Vimeo etc…
click on one of those i.e the YouTube, paste in the full URL of the video (for YouTube NOT the url of the video in the homepage, see below) and then submit for review
i.e. this does NOT work

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfdiBPt2UCoyou CAN NOT use embed code, but there are Video buttons in the text editor
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/vipers-video-quicktags/screenshots/embeds are a big no no nowadays in Wordpress world, supposed security.. and I must admit I do like the Video buttons or the ease of the simple URL links
